How can I track my products appearing in TikTok videos?
Most TikTok videos that show your product never tag you or write your name. Here is how to find them anyway, by looking at what is on screen and what is said, and how to turn what you find into something useful.
The short answer.
To track your products in TikTok videos, search by names and hashtags, then add analysis of the video itself: speech that says the product name, visuals that show the product or packaging, and on-screen text. Add the comments for how people react. Noodle4 detects products at SKU level in video and images, analyses audio and text, classifies comments using the video as context, and sends alerts to Slack.

By the numbers
TikTok is mainstream for US adults, and brands are selling through it.
- 37%
- of US adults use TikTok, up from 21% in 2021 (Pew Research, 2025)
- 32%
- of brands sell through TikTok Shop, and 25% plan to start (Aspire, via IMH)
Figures are as reported by each source. Sample sizes and dates are listed under Sources.
Why tags and hashtags are not enough
People rarely tag a product in the way a search would like. They hold it up and say “this one”, or write a nickname, or say it badly. A search on your name finds the videos where creators happened to write it, and that is a small share of the videos that show it.
Four ways to find your product
- By name. Captions, hashtags, comments and on-screen text.
- By speech. The audio, including misspellings and mispronunciations.
- By sight. The product, label or packaging in the frame, matched against pictures of your range.
- By context. Comments that talk about the product without naming it.
Set it up
- Build a library. Add pictures of each product from several angles, with packaging variants.
- Add names and aliases. Official names, nicknames, common misspellings.
- Exclude noise. Giveaways, reposts, similar names that mean something else.
- Choose the markets. Languages and regions you care about.
- Set categories. Praise, issues, questions, claims, competitor mentions.
What to do with the results
- Find the creators you have not worked with. Organic videos are often your best content.
- Check paid creators. Is the product shown and named as briefed?
- Spot problems. Damage, misuse and repeating complaints.
- See what people ask. Questions under the videos tell you what the video did not answer.
Alerts
Set alerts for a creator posting about your product for the first time, a rise in complaints, and unusual spikes in views or comments on a single video. Alerts go to Slack and Slack Connect, so partners see them too.
What Noodle4 includes
Noodle4 is a full social intelligence platform, not only a video tool. It reviews text as well as video and images, and it includes:
- Text, video and image review. Reads captions, on-screen text, spoken words, images and comments, so the whole piece of content is understood.
- Taxonomies. Organise content and comments into your own categories, so results match how your team thinks.
- Visual-level SKU tracking. Spot products and SKUs as they appear in videos and images, not only when they are named in text.
- Classifications. Every piece of content and every comment is classified by topic, type and relevance.
- Anomaly detection. Flags unusual spikes and shifts, so you see what is trending before it spreads.
- Slack and Slack Connect. Reviews, risks and reports go to your team’s channels, and to shared channels with partners.
- MCP. Ask about your creators, campaigns and social intelligence from Claude, Cursor or any MCP client.
- API. Send content in and get structured results back from your own systems.
That covers social listening, brand monitoring, influencer screening and monitoring, content review and reporting in one place. It is priced on usage, not seats, from £99 a month.

How we know this
These notes come from building Noodle4’s review and listening pipelines, not from a published academic sample. Cost curves, intent splits, and ASR collisions are from internal R&D and client-shaped tests. They will not match every category. We include them because the failure mode is structural — not because one campaign is universal.
