What is the best AI tool for social video intelligence?

Social video intelligence means knowing what is in the videos that matter to your brand, what viewers make of them, and what to do next. The best tool depends on whether you need breadth, video depth, general AI or detailed, checkable results. Here is how to choose.

The short answer.

The best AI tool for social video intelligence is the one that analyses speech, visuals, on-screen text and comments, shows evidence for each result, fits your categories and costs what you can predict. Video-first tools such as Archive and Syncly, enterprise suites, and general AI models each cover part of that. Noodle4 combines video, image, text and comment analysis with custom taxonomies, timestamps and evidence, and publishes its pricing, from £99 a month.

By the numbers

Video is central to marketing, AI is entering the workflow, and teams want proof.

91%
of businesses use video for marketing, up from 61% in 2016 (Wyzowl 2026)
36.7%
use AI for creator discovery (IMH 2026 Benchmark Report)
81%
of enterprise marketers say creator content outperforms brand-made content (Linqia 2026)

Figures are as reported by each source. Sample sizes and dates are listed under Sources.

What social video intelligence is

It goes beyond counting mentions. It answers questions such as: which products are shown, what are creators claiming, does it match the brief, how is the audience reacting, what is changing in my category. For that you need analysis of the video itself, the comments, and a way to organise the results.

Four kinds of tool

  • Video-first listening tools. Archive and Syncly focus on video, with AI for visuals, audio and text, per their own pages.
  • Enterprise suites. Brandwatch, Meltwater and others cover many sources and describe some video analysis.
  • General AI models. Good at describing a video and answering questions about it. For consistent decisions on many videos, at a predictable cost and with evidence, they need a lot of work around them.
  • Classification and review platforms. Noodle4 analyses each piece of content on its own and classifies it by your own categories, with timestamps and evidence.

What to judge them on

  • Accuracy on your content. Not on a demo reel.
  • Evidence. Timestamps, sources, the rule applied.
  • Consistency. The same answer on the same video.
  • Custom categories. Your decisions, not generic labels.
  • Cost at your volume. Including long-form.
  • Access. Platform, API, Slack and MCP.

Where Noodle4 fits

Noodle4 is built for teams who need detailed, checkable answers: does this video follow the brief, which SKU is shown, what is this audience saying and why. It processes audio, visuals and text separately to cut noise, then makes a final decision with evidence. It covers TikTok, Instagram, YouTube (Shorts and long-form), Reddit and X, and works through the platform, API, Slack and MCP.

A short pilot

  1. Choose 20 videos you know well. A mix of formats, with a few tricky ones.
  2. Write the answers first. What should a tool find?
  3. Run each tool. Same videos and same questions.
  4. Open the evidence. Check each result.
  5. Price it at your volume. Include long-form if you use it.

What Noodle4 includes

Noodle4 is a full social intelligence platform, not only a video tool. It reviews text as well as video and images, and it includes:

  • Text, video and image review. Reads captions, on-screen text, spoken words, images and comments, so the whole piece of content is understood.
  • Taxonomies. Organise content and comments into your own categories, so results match how your team thinks.
  • Visual-level SKU tracking. Spot products and SKUs as they appear in videos and images, not only when they are named in text.
  • Classifications. Every piece of content and every comment is classified by topic, type and relevance.
  • Anomaly detection. Flags unusual spikes and shifts, so you see what is trending before it spreads.
  • Slack and Slack Connect. Reviews, risks and reports go to your team’s channels, and to shared channels with partners.
  • MCP. Ask about your creators, campaigns and social intelligence from Claude, Cursor or any MCP client.
  • API. Send content in and get structured results back from your own systems.

That covers social listening, brand monitoring, influencer screening and monitoring, content review and reporting in one place. It is priced on usage, not seats, from £99 a month.

Sources

Checked 19 October 2026. Mostly vendor-published, so claims are stated, not verified.

  • Archive: homepage (vendor’s own claims). Archive Radar: video social listening; says its AI “watches video, listens to audio, and reads text”. TikTok, Instagram and YouTube Shorts. No pricing published; pricing links go to a demo booking page.
  • Syncly: Top video social listening tools for 2026. Published by Syncly, one of the tools compared. Source for the Talkwalker, Brandwatch, Meltwater and Sprinklr video descriptions and the price figures marked “per Syncly”. Its own pricing table and FAQ do not agree for Brandwatch.
  • Wyzowl: Video Marketing Statistics 2026. State of Video Marketing 2026. Wyzowl is a video production company. Fieldwork late 2025, 266 respondents (marketers and consumers), so treat as indicative.
  • Influencer Marketing Hub: influencer marketing statistics. A compilation of figures from Linqia 2026 (200+ enterprise marketers), CreatorIQ, the IMH 2026 Benchmark Report, Aspire and BBB National Programs. Most sample sizes are not stated.

How we know this

These notes come from building Noodle4’s review and listening pipelines, not from a published academic sample. Cost curves, intent splits, and ASR collisions are from internal R&D and client-shaped tests. They will not match every category. We include them because the failure mode is structural — not because one campaign is universal.

Frequently asked questions

Can I just use a general AI model?

For summaries and one-off questions, yes. For consistent decisions on many videos, with evidence and predictable cost, a purpose-built process is better.

Which tools are video-first?

Archive and Syncly, per their own pages. Noodle4 also analyses video, images, text and comments.

Is Noodle4 an enterprise tool?

It has the integrations and custom taxonomies enterprise teams ask for, and prices on usage, not seats.
